This is one of the images taken by Jerry Halfmann, an instructor at Tucson Magnet High School and a
photography teacher for 19 years. It was entered in the Photo Imaging Education Association (PIEA)
1996 Student-Teacher Photo Exhibit and Competition. Halfmann submitted a portfolio of ten images that
were taken with a 1972-vintage Pentax Spotmatic 2A and 28mm Pentax lens; he used 3M brand
ScotchChromeâ„¢ 100 color slide film, exposed at f/11 for 1/60 of a second. The photographs
were taken at Yosemite National Park.
